Mamata Banerjee suffers major head injury

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamta Banerjee had a fall due to some push from behind at her residence 'Kalighat' leading to injuries on forehead and nose.

Mamata Banerjee's nephew Abhishek, (Party national general secretary) took her to the hospital in his vehicle and got her admitted there.

69 Years old Mamata Banerjee, underwent three stitches on her forehead and one on her nose.

Mamata Banerjee is now discharged from the hospital following necessary medical tests, ECG, and radio imaging of her brain.

Mamata Banerjee was reported to be clinically "stable"she has been advised bed rest by the doctors.

A senior official of the SSKM hospital said doctors were planning to carry out a few routine checks of Mamta Banarjee during the day,

Every day, doctors are visiting her house and checking her health parameters. She is now stable and recovering quickly.
